For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, “The Promoter” refers to “The Kings College and Preparatory School” whose Instagram handle is @kingscollegeandpreparatory and whose Facebook Page is The Kings College and Preparatory School

The “Prizes’” refers to:

1st Prize:  R1000 Fourways Mall Voucher

2nd Prize: R600 Fourways Mall Voucher

3rd Prize: R400 Echo Coffee Shop Voucher

1. Eligible entries are made by:

   ✔️ Follow us on Facebook & Instagram

   ✔️ Share the competition post to your Facebook wall OR Instagram Story

   ✔️ Tag all your parent friends who are not already part of our school – each tag = 1 entry into the lucky draw!

2. The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning.
3. The competition is entered only through the Instagram or Facebook pages No other forms of entry e.g. by post or email will be accepted. 
4. The competition closes on 07 March 2025 at 00:00 am. After the competition closes, no entries will be accepted or qualify for entry into the draw to win the prize. 
5. The prizes are not transferable, nor can they be converted into cash. The prize will only be delivered within South Africa. 
6. The prize will only be issued after the close of the competition. Please allow for a two-week delivery period. 
7. The prize will be awarded to the first 3 correct entries drawn after the closing date via random draw. 
8. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
9. King’s has the right to publicize the winner’s name on our social media platforms and website. 
10. The competition is open to anyone, however, prizes will be awarded to King’s parents only.
11. King’s will notify the selected winner by telephone on the day of the draw of the competition. Failure to respond to the telephone call and accept the prize within 14 days of being contacted results in forfeiture of the prize. 
12. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information which you provide to us is accurate, complete and up to date.
13. Your entry into the competition and/or your acceptance of the prize (if you win the prize) constitutes your binding acceptance of the terms and conditions on your behalf.
14. All parties agree that they will comply with POPI regulations and process all the information and/or personal data in respect of the services being rendered in accordance with the said regulation and only for the purpose of providing the Services set out in the agreement to provide services.
15. Employees of The Promoter are not eligible to enter.
16. No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.
17. Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry.
18. Instagram or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
19. Each entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram or Facebook by tagging another user in the comments of the specified post by @YourInstagramHandle and following this Instagram and Facebook profile.
20. The Prize will be awarded to 3 randomly selected winners who have entered on Instagram or Facebook, using a random number generator. The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
21. The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
22. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
23. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
24. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
25. The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.
26. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
27. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
28. The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winner has been selected.
